I want two of the studio lights in front of the computer desks, and one behind. That provides 3 point lighting for my videos and live shows. I like having a 3-foot buffer space between the lights and the computer desks. I can walk behind the desks,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], handle the wires, turn on the lights, etc.

My 24″ iMac is paired with a 25″ monitor. I’d like to get a dual monitor setup for my Mac Mini as well. My one remaining PC should at least have a 24″ monitor.

I can read computer screens fairly easily if I stick to a dual monitor setup. I can’t read all the screens if I have 3 in a row.

Anyone who follows me knows that I’m famous for rearranging my living room/home office on a frequent basis. I’m usually trying to find room for all my stuff.
I like having all those monitors and computers aligned in a row, along with the TV, taking up the entire 13′ for floor space. Unfortunately,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], that arrangement hurts my neck.
Vision is another concern. I’m middle-aged. I’ve been using the same bifocal eyeglasses for years,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and they don’t work very well. I’ve resorted to getting $10 “computer and reading” eyeglasses till I get around to buying new prescription eyeglasses.
Once again, I need to rearrange my home office/living room. The 25″ monitor will be on the left of the iMac. The TV will be on the right. The Mac Mini needs to be moved to the side. I’ll need to turn around to see the monitor. Once that arrangement is made, my neck should stop hurting.
It’s extremely difficult when dealing with a room that measures about 12′x13′. Insert an easy chair, entertainment center,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], bookcase, 3 computer desks and studio lighting. It becomes a logistical nightmare. Add the fact that the heating thermostat needs to be unobstructed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and it’s even more maddening to me.
I’d eventually like to get more computers to handle my needs for live shows and media creation. Most likely the newer computers will be placed behind me. I’ll just turn around to use them.
